Dr. nichole rakow
Owner, Doctor of Chiropractic
I grew up in the small town of Little Falls, located in central Minnesota. I completed my undergraduate studies at St. Cloud State University where I enjoyed being a supervisor at the Recreation Center and being involved in numerous outdoor activities.
After completing my undergraduate degree at SCSU, I attended Northwestern Health Sciences University where I received a Bachelors Degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic in the fall of 2007. While attending NWHSU I participated in various clubs, most notably I served as the secretary of the Student International Chiropractic Association.
Some of the activities I enjoy are camping, hiking, ice skating, and being with friends and family.

Doctor of Chiropractic
I’m from the Twin Cities but currently reside in Somerset, WI with my husband Alec. I went to UW-Stout for my undergraduate and attended Northwestern Health Sciences University for my doctorate. For fun I love to read, go fishing, play volleyball, and spend my time with my friends and family. My goal is help others reach their full health potential and I believe Chiropractic is the key in reaching those health goals. I love what I do and I love to share the word of Chiropractic with others. I look forward to working with Dr. Nichole and the staff here at Family First Chiropractic to help everyone reach their highest potential!

Dr. gena baklund
Doctor of Chiropractic
I am originally from Forest Lake, MN. I completed my undergraduate studies at Bemidji State and earned my bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. I competed on their track and field team as a thrower all four years. I went on to Northwestern Health Sciences University, where I earned my Doctorate with an emphasis in sports and rehabilitation. I worked with many teams during my internships, such as the Minnesota Vixen, the women’s professional football team, ultimate frisbee, USA tug-of-war, and Jiu-Jitsu athletes. In my free time, I go hunting and fishing with my family. I crochet, collect plants and rocks. We have an extensive rock collection at our house. I have also been practicing Karate for 16 years, and you can usually find me at the gym doing some new lifting challenge or figuring out new things to try. I chose to become a chiropractor because I noticed the benefits and improvements in my ability to compete as an athlete, as well as the benefits my parents saw when taking me for appointments when I was younger. I want to help the body heal from the inside and to promote the idea that “not all pain is bad pain,” and to help others differentiate between injury and activity-related soreness. I want to help people of all ages, athletes, and those who may want to start moving more but aren’t sure where to begin.

Tina
Chiropractic Assistant
My background is in Nursing; however, for the last 12 years I have done a variety of jobs from ministry to delivering groceries while watching my boys grow.
I'm from West Virginia and married my high school sweet heart Skip. We live in Ham Lake with our two boys Lucas (16), Sam (15) and our Labradoodle Kenosha.
When I'm not working you'll find me watching soccer. I love playing any game, spending time with family and walks with friends.

I specialize in chronic muscle pain and long‑term tension relief. My approach is intuitive, restorative, and centered on understanding the deeper patterns behind persistent tension.
Over the years, I have developed a process that supports recovery through targeted pressure, therapeutic heat, and improved blood circulation—helping clients move with ease, feel stronger in their bodies, and experience lasting comfort in their daily lives.
